Addison is an 'outstanding' school.

The Ofsted judgements in March 2025 show that the school and EYFS give our pupils the best possible start to learning and readiness for their next school.

Year-on-year we achieve some of the highest academic results in the Local Authority, and Nationally, and the Ofsted report confirms that we do so much more.  Some highlights include:

• Inclusion is at the heart of this school, and pupil relish the opportunities to be actively involved in their school
• Pupil makes friends and feel safe. Pupils' behaviour is exemplary during lessons and at social times
• A carefully sequenced and ambitious curriculum
• Pupils focus extremely well during lessons and have highly positive attitudes to their learning
• The school's work on developing early writing is highly successful
• Well-trained staff deliver the phonics programme with precision
• In national tests pupils achieve exceptionally well in reading, writing and mathematics
