Welcome to Year 3

Ruby Class is taught by Miss Maple.

Year 3 is a great year filled with opportunities to further our learning and challenge ourselves! English and Maths are our core subjects but the children also participate in a range of subjects including:

Guided Reading, Science, History, Geography, Computing, Spanish, PSHE, R.E, Music and PE.

Handwriting, timetables practice and SPAG are also a huge priority in Year 3.

To support your child, please make sure that they learn their weekly spellings and read regularly with them after school. We follow the VIPERS skills when reading, which you can find below.  Please ensure they are completing their homework as this reinforces their school work.
