The St Paul’s Girls’ School MFL Carousel is a language learning enrichment program for primary school pupils in Year 5 and Year 6 which will expose pupils to three modern foreign languages over the academic year.  The pupils will be taught basic grammar and topic-based vocabulary in French, Spanish and German in three blocks of approximately 6 lessons per language.

Our aim is to support pupils with specialist language teaching to enhance their prior language learning, deepen grammatical understanding and make synoptic links between languages in preparation for their transition to secondary school MFL lessons.

Timing:

• 3.45pm to 4.00pm Pupil arrival and snacks
• 4.05pm to 4.45pm Language lessons
• 4.50pm Pupil departure

Parents and carers need to arrive promptly to collect pupils between 4.50pm and 5.00pm.  If parents or carers are running late, they need to call SPGS Front Office on 020 7603 2288 to inform when they will arrive to collect their child.
