Learn Together, Enjoy Together, Achieve Together

PGL Residential

On their final day at PGL, the pupils completed their last activities, including the Matrix challenge and rock climbing. Spirits were high as they celebrated their achievements and supported one another through the final tasks. Now, with bags packed and memories made, they are on their way back to school, tired but proud of all they have accomplished.

Excitement filled the rooms as pupils got ready for party time, adding final touches, sharing accessories and helping friends feel confident. The disco was filled with music, colourful lights and lots of laughter as everyone danced, sang along to their favourite songs and showed off their best moves. Pupils cheered each other on, formed dance circles and enjoyed spending time with friends. It was a joyful way to end the day, full of energy, fun and memories they will never forget.

Fantastic Fencing! Teamwork activities and getting ready to party!

Pupils had a fantastic time learning the basics of fencing, showing quick reactions, focus and brilliant sportsmanship. They thoroughly enjoyed the competitive matches and encouraged one another throughout. After an action-packed day, everyone is now excitedly getting ready for the disco, choosing outfits, dancing around their rooms and looking forward to an evening of music and fun.

Focus and Precision in Archery

During the archery session, pupils were taught how to safely handle the bow, position their stance and carefully aim towards the target. As they practised, many pupils improved their technique, showing patience, determination and celebrating each arrow that landed closer to the centre. The activity encouraged focus, resilience and confidence, with pupils cheering each other on and proudly recognising their progress.

Blindfolded Adventure on the Sensory Trail

During the sensory trail, pupils were blindfolded and had to rely on their other senses to guide them along the path. They carefully followed ropes, felt different textures and listened to their surroundings while supporting and encouraging one another. The activity encouraged trust, communication and teamwork and was filled with laughter and determination as pupils stepped out of their comfort zones.

Pupils took on the zip wire while others were racing in the field. During the Survivor activity, they worked together to build a tent using only the resources provided, showing fantastic teamwork, problem-solving and resilience. Afterwards, everyone gathered around the campfire to relax, share stories, toast marshmallows and enjoy a well-earned evening together.

Pupils worked in perfect rhythm during dragon boating, paddling together to glide swiftly across the water, communicating, encouraging one another and showing fantastic teamwork as they powered their boat forward.

With hearts racing and voices cheering, pupils took on the giant swing and loved every second, pushing themselves to new heights, conquering their nerves and bursting into smiles and laughter as they soared through the air.

An Exciting Start to Our PGL Experience

Pupils began today’s adventures with high-energy activities like the giant swing and trapeze, embracing every moment with enthusiasm and teamwork as they encouraged one another, conquered their fears and celebrated each success together.
