This week, we read The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We discussed the cycle of a butterfly, the names and colours of the fruits, and we encouraged each other to retell the story.

The children enjoyed watching the puppet show of the story. Please watch it again with your child. You can also turn down the sound to see if they can retell different parts of the story.

In Sound-Speak, we chanted "Ants on my arms... aaaarrrr" . Then we made Silly 'a' Soup, stirring in anything begins with 'a' phoneme: apple, ant, avocado. We compared it with the m phoneme (milk, mouse, man)
