Throughout Key Stage One and Two pupils are engaged in learning about a variety of people, places and environments both locally and further afield. Geographical skills and location knowledge are developed through the use of globes, atlases, maps and digital mapping. Throughout the years, pupils build up their knowledge of human and physical geography, for example learning about rivers as part of the 'water cycle' topic or the distribution of natural resources whilst learning about the Amazon. Pupils take part in various fieldwork opportunities to explore the school and surrounding environment.
