Welcome to Reception!

 Blueberries Class is taught by Mrs. Spiteri and supported by Ms Carol.

Reception is an incredibly important year, but also a year full of exciting challenges! English and maths are our core subjects but the children also participate in a range of subjects including: reading, science, PSHE, music and PE. Reception is very important to create a good foundation for reading and writing. 

To support your child, please make sure that they complete their homework every week. It is also important for the children to be read to every day. They can also have a go at spotting sounds that we have learnt in school. 

Please feel free to click on the 'What We Are Learning' icon to find a 'Curriculum Overview' for this half term, along with vocabulary for maths and science. Finally, don't forget to keeping an eye out at our photos in the 'Gallery of Our Learning' area.
