RE DAY
This term in RE, Topaz class have focussed on the symbol of light. The children worked really well in their table groups, sharing ideas about when and why we use candlelight, and exploring the different meanings it can symbolise. Through their discussions, they reflected on how light is used in various religious contexts, such as in churches, during Diwali, or on birthday cakes.
The children visited the National History Museum to expand their knowledge of volcanoes and earthquakes. They participated in an engaging educational workshop led by the museum staff, which they thoroughly enjoyed. This hands-on experience, with interactive activities, allowed them to learn outside the classroom in a fun and informative way!
