Year 4 had a fantastic week last week for National Science week. During the week, we had a workshop where we learnt about all different kinds of Science and saw some extremely cool experiments! We also experimented with balloons and static electricity during our science lesson, making our hair stand on end!
Science Week 2020
Year 4 had a fantastic day on World Book Day. We celebrated everything that was special about books, and there were some fantastic costumes! Year 4 also enjoyed reading some books to Reception children, to encourage them to find a love of reading. A great day was had by all!
World book day
Year 4 visited the London Aquarium on the 27th November in realtion to our learning about Rainforests. The children enjoyed looking at the different animals and learning about the habitats. We also enjoyed an excellent workshop where we learnt about the layers of the Rainforest and the different animals that lived there.
Year 4 enjoyed a fascinating workshop from the people at the Tropical Zoo. The children learnt about the different animals that lived in the Rainforest and were able to touch some of the animals including a snake! Alongside this, we learnt about how the animals live in the rainforest and the different ways that they survive there.
