Taekwondo Club
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art that uses hands and feet for both attack and defence. In our Taekwondo club, children will learn new skills in a safe and friendly environment. They will practise kicking to improve balance, flexibility, and coordination, and punching to build strength and control.
Children will also learn how to block and defend, helping them to stay focused and build self-discipline. They will work on patterns, which are special movements that help improve concentration and memory. There will also be sparring activities where they can practise quick thinking and respect for others.
A qualified Taekwondo instructor runs the sessions and makes sure everyone is learning safely and having fun. Taekwondo is a great way for children to get fit, build confidence, and learn important skills like self-control and perseverance. The club is open to all children, whether they are beginners or have some experience.
