As part of our celebrations for world book day, we chose and performed a poem. Take a look at us performing the poem 'Olympic Granny' by Kenn Nesbitt.

On world book day, we dressed up as our favourite book characters!

We painted our favourite book characters and role-played stories during world book week!

In Science, we have been learning about separating solids. The children tested out various equipment to see whether they managed to separate any materials away from others.

In R.E. we learnt about how Christmas is celebrated in other countries. We made our own Christingles using ribbons and sweets and learnt about what each part represents.

Cream Class enjoyed their swimming lessons in the Autumn Term.

In English, we perfected and published our very own folktales about ‘chirping grasshoppers lurking within dense foliage’ and energetic fish dashing around like Olympians.’

We celebrated National Fitness Day by taking part in a range of aerobic activities. They certainly got our hearts pumping!

In computing, we have been learning about how to stay safe online. We enjoyed playing a game which involved answering questions about online safety to gain points..

In Cream class, we have started our cycling lessons. We have cycled around the playground and around the local area.

In PSHE, we have been exploring what peer pressure looks like and how we can deal with situations we may not feel comfortable with.

In history, we have been studying King Richard and King John, deciding whether they were strong or weak Medieval monarchs.
