Year 6 have settled in really well. They have all participated in the activities and are using the Addison Values to overcome challenges. Perseverance, Respect and Friendship are the values the pupils have demonstrated. Year 6 have received many compliments about their manners and behaviour. We are so proud of them!!!

In PSHE, the children have been talking about their goals and ambitions. They discussed their the career path they were interested in following when they are older and the skills they would need to help them to be successful!
In English we were learning our new vocabulary words to help us with our writing. We used drama to help us learn these words and presented them to the class.
Today we were invertebrate detectives around the school ground. We predicted which vertebrates we thought we might find and where and then used bug containers to catch any invertebrates that we found. We found worms, spiders, woodlice and snails. The children then classified the invertebrates into arthropods, arachnids, crustaceans, insects and molluscs.
