Welcome to Nursery!

Cherries Class is taught by Miss Maple and supported by Ms Penny.

Nursery can be for most children their first experience of school life, so it is filled with opportunities to learn new skills and develop as an independent learner. We work towards achieving a variety of Early Learning Goals which are split into key areas: Communication and Language, Personal Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design. Within these areas, there are key statements that the children work towards across the year. 

To support your child, please get involved with your child's learning and continue to practice it at home. We are currently sending one sound a week home. Your child should be attempting to write it independently.
